The purpose of this level 300 presentation is to show how to architect a Windows Azure application such as this one: http://westcoastdpe.cloudapp.net It is a simple Stock Chart application that lets you enter in a stock symbol and pick parameters for the display of a stock chart. The app integrates with Facebook so you can share your stock chart and comments with your friends by posting to your Wall from within the Stock Chart app.
Technically, it is an ASP.NET app utilizing IE9/HTML5 site pinning and automatic screen resizing when viewed on a PC, Tablet or Phone (i.e. 3 screens). It uses a mixed language Stock Chart API (VB.NET) and the official Facebook API (C#). It uses OAuth 2.0 to authenticate the app to your Facebook account. It uses Windows Azure blob storage for storing the chart pictures and exposes web services to be consumed by other devices such as a Windows Phone 7 application.
