Abstract:
ASP.NET "Atlas" makes it easy to build rich, interactive Web-based applications for personalized Web experiences. It provides a framework that includes a suite of ASP.NET server controls, Web services, and JavaScript libraries. In this session, you'll learn about ASP.NET "Atlas" and how this framework makes it dramatically easier to develop richer Web experiences.

John Bristowe (johnbris@microsoft.com) (Developer Advisor, Microsoft Canada Co.): John Bristowe is a Developer Advisor with Microsoft Canada based in Calgary, Alberta. In addition to devoting much of his time towards community-based events and initiatives, John also produces two podcasts: Plumbers at Work and Developer Night in Canada. John is an experienced speaker and frequently presents Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) events across Canada. Prior to joining Microsoft, John was a member of the Microsoft Regional Director (RD) and Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) programs.

Christian Beauclair (christian.beauclair@microsoft.com) (Senior Developer Advisor, Microsoft Canada Co.): Christian Beauclair just joined the MSDN team and is based out of Ottawa. He's been with Microsoft for the past 12 years and has a passion for software development and its different facet. He as coded in Modula-2, xBase, VB, VB.NET and now C#. He has also been involved in some major software applications both at Microsoft and his prior employer. His passion also extends to games (he had his Xbox 360 on order 6 months before the release) and various collectibles. He was also one of the major contributors to the creation of the Ottawa .NET user community and sits on its steering committee.

Jean-Luc David (jeanld@microsoft.com) (Developer Advisor, Microsoft Canada Co.): Jean-Luc David has written four books for Wiley Publishing (including Professional Javascript 2nd Edition, Professional WinFX Beta, Professional Visual Studio 2005 Team System and most recently, Professional Team Foundation Server). Prior to joining Microsoft Jean-Luc had been a Microsoft MVP for three years. Jean-Luc is very passionate about the community and loves talking and interacting with developers and IT professionals. Jean-Luc lives in downtown Toronto.
